I like this idea for a Valentine's gift because it is different and unexpected. It's also a great idea for men who have talked about making their own beer but have yet to actually try it... the materials separately to regularly make your own beer at home cost hundreds of dollars. I know I wouldn't want my husband to spend all that money until he tried his hand at it first to make sure he enjoyed it!
