There are two coupons out right now for $1/1 Nexcare Bandages, no size restrictions. This means you can get the travel size for FREE at Target! I don't usually get excited over the travel size deals, but having a little box of these in your glove compartment, diaper bag, or purse could really come in handy.

Freebie Week: Target Edition

So I spotted a couple freebies I could use at Target. There are more to be had if you love travel size stuff, but I don't generally bother with that unless it's something I will really use. So I skipped the miniatures and went for the full-size freebies:

I also scored a 5 ct. box of Belly Bars (those are nutritional snack bars for pregnant ladies) for $.99 (normally $7.99)!

Facebook Coupon: $1/1 Rayovac Batteries (Making Them Free!)

Word is the $1/1 Rayovac batteries coupon has just reset on Rayovac's Facebook page!

I have personally seen the Rayovac AA batteries (4 pack) in the Dollar Spot at Target, although last time I couldn't find any. I imagine they will restock, I will be heading there this week to check. I have also heard that they are less than $1 at Walmart, making them FREE at both places after this coupon!

It's nearly mosquito season!

Check your 4/11 Red Plum coupon circular for the $5/2 Benadryl products coupon. Target and Walmart reportedly have the Benadryl Itch Relief sticks priced at about $2.28. You can use the coupon to get both FREE! I will need about 3000 of these to get me through the summer... I am a mosquito magnet.

My apologies for the limited posts this weekend, but I had some good friends in town and was too busy having fun to scour the web for deals!

Some days are lame, and all I get in the mail is junk or bills. Then I go shopping and have to pay for everything (can you imagine?).

Then, there are days like yesterday.

I hit up CVS for a few items and came out with these, FREE after coupons and ECBs!

 

Is it just me or are those Dawn bottles missing a bit of soap?

Then I took a trip to Target for some necessities and fun stuff like birthday presents. I got a few items for free there as well, which I have combined with my mail freebies for the sake of the photo:

 

From Target:

• Sun Chips, free from Sun Chips Facebook promo. Can I just tell you how LOUD their new compostable bag is? I actually was self-conscious putting it in the cart.
• Pillsbury Grands Cinnamon Rolls. Not sure where I got a free coupon, but that's what I used.
• Swiffer Wet Jet Refills, used coupon from Home Made Simple booklet. I have been dying for a Wet Jet, and the starter kit was on sale for $19.99, plus you got to pick your free item, either refill pads or a bottle of refill cleaning fluid. I chose the pads since they were more expensive.
• GE Energy Smart CFL light bulb, see deal here.

Now on to the freebies in the mail:

• Al Fresco sausages, compliments of the lovely Al Fresco company. These were a total surprise, I am assuming I got them because I signed up for their market panel and these appear to be a new flavor, Chipotle Chorizo. Yum!
• Free sample of Downy fabric softener from Sam's Club
• Free sample of Tide w/ Febreze laundry detergent plus coupon from Walmart
• Puffs Plus To Go travel pack plus coupons from Vocalpoint
• 3 Pampers Cruisers with Dry Max diapers from P&G Everyday Solutions (not shown)

Once in a while I get frustrated with all the coupon clipping, organizing and matching up. But days like this do make it seem all worthwhile!

Target: Free GE CFL Light Bulbs

 

Have you noticed how those CFL light bulbs are SO expensive? I didn't even like paying for the incandescents. Well Target is giving you one for free right now! Here's the scenario:

Buy GE Energy Smart light bulb (prices start at $2.99)
Use $1/1 GE Energy Smart lighting coupon here (find it under "household")
Use $2/1 Target Store GE lighting coupon here (find it under "household")
FREE after coupons (if you buy the $2.99 bulb)

I did this deal yesterday, and it took a little looking to find the $2.99 bulb, but it was there (it was in a smaller size box than the others if that helps you find it). I also had a clipped coupon from the paper -- sorry but I don't know when it was from, but if you clip and save coupons, check your stash before going to the trouble of printing the $1/1 above.

Another note: you can print multiples of both coupons above, but Target only allows you to use one $2/1 coupon per transaction. I didn't want to deal with multiple transactions, so I just got one yesterday and printed another set to use later.
